Grammars and expressions:

1. A-아서/어서 못 V = cannot because it is

그 옷은 너무 비싸서 못 샀어요.
I could not buy that dress be a use it was too expensive.

오늘은 너무 추워서 산에 못 가겠어요.
I can't go to mountain today because it is too cold.


2. A-(으)ㄴ/ V-는 것 같아다 = seem to be A/V

이 책은 아주 재미있는 것 같아요.
This book looks very interesting.

요즘 아이들은 책을 읽은 것 같아요.
Children these days don't seem to read books.


3. A/V-(으)ㄹ 것 같아다 = looks like/think N will be A/V

담 주에는 일이 많아서 바쁠 것 같아요.
In next week, I have a lot of work, so I think I will be busy

영숙이는 집에 안 갈 것 같은데요.
It doesn't look like Youngsook will go home.


4. A-(으)ㄴ 것 = A one

나는 복잡한 것이 싫어요.
I don't like complicated things.

사람들은 아름다운 것을 좋아해요.
People like pretty things.


5. S-(으)면 좋겠다 = it would be nice if S

자동차를 사면 좋겠어요.
It would be nice if I buy a car.

돈이 많으면 좋겠지요?
Wouldn't it be nice to have a lot of money?


6. N1에게 N2을/를 빌려 주다 = lend N2 to N1

친구에게 사전을 빌러 주었어요.
I lent my dictionary to a friend.

볼펜 좀 빌려 주세요.
Can you lend me your pen?

 
7. 빌러다 = borrow, lend

From something: 에서
도서관에서 책을 빌렸어요.
I borrowed a book from the library.

From someone: 한테서/에게서
친구한테서 사전을 빌렸어요.
I borrowed a dictionary from a friend.


8. N한테[에게] = to [for] N

저한테 그 책을 주세요.
Please give me the book.

9. N한테서/에게서 = from N

친구에게서 사전을 빌렸어료.
I borrowed a dictionary from a friend.

10. N1이/가 N2에게 쉽다 = N1 is easy for N2

한국어 발음이 저에게 너무 어려워요.
Korean pronunciation is too difficult for me.

11. 그럼 = 그러면 = then
머리가 아파요.
- 그럼, 약을 드세요.
I have a headache. 
- Then take some medicine.

Translate:
